Seraphina Stories - Kasia Chinery

Seraphina Stories - Kasia Chinery
We couldn’t be more excited to have Kasia Chinery, style icon and a fellow lover of 70’s style to showcase our Pre Fall collection as we head into the autumn. As the founder of florists Gloria Studio, Kasia’s impeccable eye has given a whole new take on the collection. We talked to Kasia about her favourite flowers to give, her style pin ups and how she would style her Seraphina now and later.
Which flowers do you like to give and why?
like to give either a mixed bouquet of seasonal flowers which includes a wide variety of different shapes and colours. We make irregular shaped bunches that are a contrast to the traditional round style. I also really love giving single variety flowers for a more simple yet impactful bouquet - such as hydrangeas or English garden roses.

Do you have a favourite flower season and why?
I love Spring flowers - it feels like a real change from winter and there is so much on offer.

When did you decide to work with flowers?
I have been working in flowers for just over 5 years now, I initially did a flower course and then started working in flower shops. It’s a lot harder to break into it now after the pandemic so I count myself very lucky to have a well rounded experience.

Who are your greatest style pin ups?
Ah such a hard question! How long do you have? I love Alexa Chung, Lucia Cuesta, Monikh Dale.

Which era of fashion do you feel most inspired by and why?

I most inspired by the 70s and also now! People have such a strong sense of style now and are so proud to show it off.
